Explore calculated planet positions for your birth moment. Begin with the opening snapshot, then submit your date, local time and birthplace.

Explore your birth moment

A moment to begin with

The page opens with a general reading and solar-system positions for the exact opening instant. The form starts in your browser time zone, with UTC as a fallback. No birthplace is inferred. This snapshot stays fixed until you submit valid birth details.

Enter an exact birth moment

The form accepts births from 1900 through today in the birthplace’s time zone. Untouched opening date/time defaults follow the selected place’s clock; values you edit stay as entered. Exact future birth times are rejected. With unknown time, the local date must have begun; noon is only an approximate calculation time, even before noon today.

What the positions mean

The portrait shows calculated positions around the Sun at one instant. Changing birthplace does not change this heliocentric configuration for the same UTC instant. Birthplace converts local time to UTC; the scene is not a map of what an observer sees above their horizon.

Dates and precision

The opening scene retains its captured instant; camera controls never change the astronomical date. Personal dates are converted from the selected birthplace’s local time. Historical time-zone records and unknown birth times have limitations explained in the method.
